Gest speeker Erik Hanbery

I probably should have done this post back on Monday to have a fresh memory of what did Hanbery talk about. But good thing I have a page full of random notes of what happen on that day.

Anyways Erik Hanbery was an interesting man who had done a lot in his life. When he was a collage student working at the student center. He convince the school to make them a new webpage and got paid for it. Even though it was his first time making a website. Hanbery have actually wrote books and self publish them. And has done many jobs including acting to working in the Metro parks in W.A (sadly that's all the jobs I could remember). Other than talking about himself, his speech was about how to put yourself on the internet and such. Hanbery had talk about a time when he fist made a book and stared to publish it on his own. He was clever on using a system which he print on demand for his book. Not on having a garage full of unsold books. He then went on about how eBooks were starting to catch on and how Amazon Bookstore was helping self publishers be out there in the web. Even though it seem great to be able to publish anything on the web and it seem easy. Their something that everyone needs to know about. Putting it out there is a emotional toll for anyone when they get bad review on their projects. Plus it can be hard to come back once the public marks you as a failure. These are the things people need to think about when publishing stuff on the internet.

Well that all what I remember from Hanbery speech. I know I might of left off some important detail  but its been five days and I don't even remember what I got for breakfast today. Anyway that is all.
